PROTEIOS new range of textured vegetable proteins developed starting from a careful raw materials research, combined with advance and proprietary extrusion technology. The purpose of HI-FOOD is to create textured products with different shapes and structures with a high protein content that can be used in the preparation of meat or meat & fish analogue products, therefore suitable for the vegan market. The PROTEIOS textured vegetable proteins range is made using extrusion technology - within the Hi-Food laboratories located in Parma, Italy - a process during which, thanks to physical transformations, it is possible to shape natural vegetable matrices (such as seeds, bran, sprouts, cereals, legumes) giving them organoleptic characteristics and unique textures; moreover, it is possible to preserve the quality of natural components such as mineral salts, dietary fibers and proteins.
